JOSE TORRES RELEASES DEBUT TRACK WITH ESTRELLA MEDIA MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT (EMME), ‘DE ESTE LADO‘ THURSDAY, JUNE 8

The Controversial Conscience of Social Media, Torres Presents Skillful Song of Love and Judgment in EMME Debut

June 2, 2023 – LOS ANGELES – Jose Torres, the influential Regional Mexican singer/songwriter who is building a music career based on authenticity, emotion, and heartfelt storytelling, is releasing his first single on Estrella Media Music Entertainment (EMME), “De Este Lado.” The single and video will be released by EMME on Thursday, June 8, and will be available on all streaming music platforms. EMME is the music division of U.S. Spanish-languange multi-platform media company, Estrella Media.

Torres has built a massive and passionate fanbase through social media, where his unfiltered, opinionated posts have built him a following in the millions – including those who love him and those who love to hate him. “De Este Lado” shares the two sides of Torres’ emotions, the hot and cold persona that has made him such a divisive favorite with his social media followers.

“De Este Lado” is written by Kike Torres, Geovani Cabrera, and Giovanny Ayala. “The song connected with me right away,” said Torres. “It’s both a romantic and spiteful song, speaking to love and judgment. Musically, it showcases my accordion skills

combined with other instruments that I had never used. We achieved something great with this song, and I’m very proud of it.”

With over 20 million social media followers, his honest and blunt opinions and commentary are not just reserved for his music, but his daily social posts that have won him fans and haters.

“People love to hate me,” says Torres. “I respect my critics. I understand there are many other singers that get attention, that it’s not only me out there,” he says about the biting comments – and adoring ones – that he receives on his feeds. “When I began, I used to get furious at it – and that was normal. Now that hate helps me to write new songs. I find the good side from the hate – including people sending me pizzas, trying to play with me,” he laughs.
